Revenues of the Suez Canal Authority jumped during September by 21.7 percent on an annual basis, to record $683.2 million, compared to $561.3 million in the same month last year.
Navigation in the Canal increased by 9.1% on an annual basis, as 2024 ships crossed the waterway in September, compared to 1856 ships in the same month 2021.
Total net tonnages reached 120 million tons for the month of September, compared to 112 million tons in the same month last year, an increase of 7.1%.
